Hunting Report

CELEBRATING TWENTY THREE YEARS IN THE GUIDE

                                           BUSINESS

Ranch at the Roaring Fork Condo

ALSO A GREAT WINTER SKI VACATION

If you are looking for that summer or winter ski get away with mountain air, fly fishing, shopping, biking, hiking, and some great dining. THIS IS IT ! The ranch is a 30 minute drive from Aspen. We are between Basalt, and Carbondale Colorado. The ranch has a three par. golf course, tennis courts, and numerous golf courses in the valley. For me it's the Fly Fishing. It's all private, only those people living on the property and guest can fish. It's fly fishing only. The Roaring Fork River runs through the property for about 2 miles. Then you have Sopris Creek along with other smaller creeks on the property which adds up to plenty water for everyone to spread out and enjoy this unique private fishing spot. If you get board or need some brushing up on your technique you can book a trip with Taylor Creek Fly Fishing Shop in Basalt. They have some great guides and offer both float and walk in fishing on the Frying Pan, Roaring Fork, Colorado, and Crystal river.

I can't tell you everything there is to do because it would take up to much space, but I can tell you if you are looking for a great Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall High Country Get Away this is it.

Give us a call, or e-mail us for more details on how to book a vacation at this unique spot.

                               ACCEPTING RESERVATIONS FOR

RANCH at the ROARING FORK CONDO

March 4, 08

Burr it's cold here today! We got some much needed moisture in the form of SNOW today. We'll take all we can get.

Not much to report, the conservation snow goose hunt's were over before we knew what hit us. Those older snows would not do it so we just called it a wrap. Over all it was a good year for dark geese and ducks. The pheasant hunting was out of this world.

About all we can do at this point is start thinking about next season.

We had to do a little price increase on our hunt's but nothing to serious. At least it's not like the price of oil, just due to it. The new pricing is on the waterfowl and upland page.

We are already getting bookings for next year so don't wait around get your group together and let's get some dates down for your group.

April 26, 08

Not much to report other than we have had lot's of wind and very little moisture. Things are starting to green up and summer should be right around the corner.

We did find out pheasant season will start the first weekend of  Dec. for the 08, 09 hunting season and will run till the end of  Dec. That should be helpful to know so you can put your group together.

That's about all the info we have at this time, as we get more news we let you know.

Remember to start getting those dates booked early so your not left out for the 08, 09 season.

We'll keep on posting report's as to what is going on here.

Stay Tuned !
